Employment Opportunities
Wishwell Farms employees around 35 part-time workers during June for strawberry season, and needs about 20-25 workers for the remainder of the season. In the fall when school resumes, we need about 10-12 employees that are still available to work. Positions available each season include:
- Strawberry season only
- Greenhouse tomato workers
- General farm work (planting, weeding and harvesting)
- Sales at Farmers’ Markets
- Fall harvest and end of season clean up

Positions at Wishwell Farms Produce
- Harvesting/weeding/packing of all fruits and vegetables (May 25-Oct. 15)
- Strawberries, Peas
- Raspberries, Green Beans
- Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts
- Zucchini, Cucumbers, Yellow Squash, Eggplant, Peppers
- Sweet Corn, Cantaloupe, Watermelon
- Pumpkins, Indian Corn, Gourds, Winter Squash
- Preseason seeding, laying plastic and drip tape, and planting (April & May)
- Greenhouse tomatoes-prune, clip, lean and lower, harvest, and pack (May-Nov.)
- Sales at Saturday Farmers’ Markets (May-Oct.)
- Sales at daily markets in Marysville and Columbus (June-Sept.)
- Sales at home market (May-Oct.)
- Late summer and fall harvest and sales (Aug. 15-Oct. 15)
- Late fall harvest and farm cleanup (Oct. 15-Nov. 15)
